Since 2001, Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) has been hosting the traditional All-Russian Conference "Irreversible Processes in Nature and Technology". 

Irreversible processes cover a wide range of phenomena and processes that play a major role in both human life and the environment. As a result of diverse studies, there is a need to discuss new experimental and theoretical results recently obtained in this area. At this Conference, representatives of many scientific fields have the opportunity to discuss the latest achievements and present their proposals for the creation of new devices based on the implementation of irreversible processes. 

A large number of young, promising scientists interested in both the fundamental problems of irreversible processes and their applications traditionally take part in the Conference.
